Dr. Chimbganda Tapo is a leading voice in mental health advocacy, equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and social services, she brings a wealth of knowledge to The Mental Health Hour on LuvBay Afrobeat Music Talk Radio.

As the founding Executive Director of Future Black Female (FBF), Dr. Tapo is dedicated to empowering young Black women (ages 16-22) by providing access to social, political, and economic opportunities. Her passion for mental health education is evident in her work training future clinicians and fostering inclusive practices within communities.

On The Mental Health Hour, Dr. Tapo engages listeners in meaningful discussions about mental well-being, self-care, and breaking stigmas around mental health in the Afro-Caribbean and diasporic communities. Through expert insights, real-life stories, and actionable strategies, she helps listeners navigate their mental wellness journey with confidence.
